The Computational Intelligence & Brain Computer Interface Center
(http://uts-cibci.center/) at University of Technology Sydney has
a funded opening for an excellent PhD student (3 ~ 4 year). The
successful applicant will be in charge of a brain computer
interface project that leverage brain imaging device to design
next-generation interaction techniques in VR/AR.
The CIBCI center was newly funded by UTS in 2016 and is equipped
with the state-of-the-art hardware including 256 Channel EEG
device (Compumedic), 64 channel wireless EEG device (Brain
Vision), 6 DoF motion platform (for driving / piloting
simulation), Optitrack Motion Capture System, Omidirection
treadmill, HTC Vive, and MS Hololens. Our industry partners
include US Army Research Lab, HTC, and Lockheed Martin. We expect
our PhD students to take advantages of these devices and
connections for conducting the cutting-edge research.
