The specimen is 4.8 x 4.0 x2.5 cm in size and is covered with an
ellipse of skin, 2.8x0.5 cm. It is marked at 8 o’clock(2 suture
lines) ,nipple direction(1 suture lines) , and 8 o’clock (3 suture
lines) respectively.
Staining of p63 and SMMHC show maintained myoepithelial cells around
the
neoplastic ducts and in sclerosing adenosis lesions.
以上的病理報告有幾個問題想跟大家問一下﹕
「The specimen is 4.8 x 4.0 x2.5 cm in size and is covered with an
ellipse of skin, 2.8x0.5 cm. 」這句話裡「The specimen is 4.8 x 4.0 x2.5
cm in size 」的意思確定是「檢體大小4.8 x 4.0 x2.5公分」沒錯。「is covered
with an ellipse of skin, 2.8x0.5 cm.」字面上的意思應該是「檢體上覆蓋一
塊2.8x0.5公分的橢圓形皮膚」不確定是否是這個意思?(因2.8x0.5公分比4.8 x 4.0 x2.5
公分還小，且只有一塊而已，沒有辦法把4.8 x 4.0 x2.5公分的檢體完全覆蓋住)
「It is marked at 8 o’clock(2 suture lines) ,nipple direction(1
suture lines) , and 8 o’clock (3 suture lines) respectively.」這句話看不
太懂意思?

」這句話裡「SMMHC」的意思不曉得? 「maintained」在這裡不知道怎麼翻? (在這裡應該
是形容詞修飾後面的名詞)
「neoplastic ducts」的意思不曉得?
