民主黨舉行第五屆全國會議之前，蘇西洛公子阿古斯（Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono）於15日由妻子Annisa Pohan陪同在雅加達會議中心正式報名參選民主黨總主席職位。
週日（3月15日），在雅加達國際會議中心舉行的第五屆民主黨大會，會議以過鼓掌方式通過AHY為民主黨中央理事會總主席。
