伊拉克宣布釋放反政府示威被捕人士

伊拉克新政府宣布，會釋放去年反政府示威中的被捕人士，並成立委員會調查針對示威者的襲擊事件。
總理卡迪米(Mustafa al-Kadhimi)在首次內閣會議後發表電視講話，宣布會釋放去年10月反政府示威中，不涉及死亡個案的被捕人士，政府亦會向死者家屬提供賠償。
伊拉克去年10月爆發大規模示威活動，大批民眾上街要求政府改革，軍警出動鎮壓，造成最少數百人死亡。卡迪米承諾會與示威者協商，又宣布一系列措施，包括發放部分退休金款項，強調政府首要工作是為未來選舉創造安全環境，希望盡快通過新的選舉法。
