NFL 全名為National Football League(國家美式足球聯盟)，為世界最大的美式足球聯盟
。NFL是美國四大運動聯盟之一，也是聯盟當中最富有的。由32支球隊組成，分別隸屬NFC
和AFC。每年共有十七場常規賽，於九月初開始，到十二月底結束。 常規賽結束後，積分
最高的七個隊，將進入季後賽。整個賽季中，最精采的就是超級盃年度冠軍賽一般在每年
1月最後一個或2月第一個星期天舉行，那一天稱為超級盃星期天（Super Bowl Sunday）
。
