近幾年task1 才出現的題型: 圖形描述。其中最具代表性的就是這個cooking equipment

☆ 這類題型在寫作時的幾個重點:
- 一定要充分理解圖形要表達的重點與細節
- 一樣遵守 introduction-overview-detail 的架構
- detail 描述時所有細節都要提到。必要時可以做”適當延伸推論”。
■ 關鍵字詞:
- 題目裡的 development 換詞: evolve / evolution
- picture A : stone & twigs / straw
- picture A: a vase-like container
- picture B: a protective clay shield / a clay shield was used to protect the
fire
- picture C: The fire is completely enclosed in a metal covering, and a door i
s added for air supply and ash removal.
■ 必要的延伸推論:
>> A cooking pot could be easily placed on top of this clay shield for cooking
purposes.
>> Picture C is much more advanced in design.
>> The top container, which consists of a grate on which charcoal can be place
d, is shielded by a clay-lining to prevent any heat loss.
>>The metal exterior makes the whole device more solid.
>> The clay lining may serve as an insulator.
>> It has a handle for easy transportation.
>> The supports hold the pot. / keep the pot in place.
