[問題] N-400 SSS兵役問題

想請問一下大家，有沒有人過去有以下類似的情況？

綠卡持有人在18-26歲間拿到綠卡但因為不知情所以沒有登記兵役

現在已經超過26歲想要入籍，兵役問題已經沒有辦法補救

查網路上的說法是：

1. 超過31歲等擁有5年良好記錄在申請入籍

2. 向SSS申請Status Information Letter

想請問的是過去有沒有人嘗試方法二然後申請入籍？入籍的結果如何？

還有就是我在SSS網站上看到沒有登記兵役的penalty如下：

Failing to register or comply with the Military Selective Service Act is a
felony punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 or a prison term of up to five
years, or a combination of both.

想請問如果申請Status Information Letter的時候會被罰款嗎？
