R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, as “No Sleeep” takes the top debut, arriving at No. 18.
It’s her 48th song to rank on the list, dating back to 1982 when she first
placed with “Young Love,” from her self-titled debut album, peaking at No.
6. The neo-soul “No Sleeep” is the first chart hit in five years for the
singer following “Nothing,” which reached No. 58 in May 2010. The new
single from Jackson’s upcoming album, due in the fall, sold 38,000 downloads
in its first week out, earning at No. 2 arrival on R&B Digital Songs.
