NYK’s probably going to play younger players like Ntilikina, Burke, Mudiay, D
otson, Kornet & Hicks more often between now & the end of the year. After the
Mudiay trade, GM Scott Perry was asked about the idea of giving younger player
s more minutes. Here are some of his answers:

Perry說接下來23場會讓年輕人多上場，並希望他們能多贏幾場，希望他們是能從「贏球
」中學習成長。


Jeff Hornacek on Joakim Noah: “We’ve moved on. I think maybe he’s ready to
move on and maybe have an opportunity somewhere else.” He indicated there is
no immediate plan for Noah to return to the team. He wasn’t sure if Noah will
 continue to be away for the rest of the season.

「球隊已經決定向前看了，我想他應該也知道了，我不確定他接下來會不會回來。」

Jeff Hornacek on the Knicks’ approach over the final 23 games: “Just giving
the young guys more chances.... We’ll throw them out there. They’ll take som
e lumps probably at times but they’ve got to get through that. They’ve got t
o battle through and learn.”

Nothing has been decided yet, but it seems likely that Emmanuel Mudiay will st
art at point guard against Orlando on Thursday.

Jeff Hornacek’s comments below suggest Frank Ntilikina’s fatigue and occasio
nal knee pain are two of the factors behind his reduced minutes at times this
season. His minutes are expected to increase in the final 23 games. He’s play
ing 20 MPG thus far.
