(2) short-handed (adj.)人手短缺、不足
Our company is short-handed. I need to work ten days in a row.
我們公司人手短缺。我必須一連上十天的班。
(3) apologize (v.)道歉
My brother knows he is wrong, but he is too proud to apologize.
我弟知道他錯了。但是他太驕傲而無法低頭道歉。
(4) take one's order 幫...點餐 (order這邊是點餐的意思)
A: May I take your order?
