You may want to take the lead with a group project, Leo, but someone has beaten
you to it. Even though you may be far more qualified to take the reins, there
may not be a polite way to go to the head of the class. Because of this, you
may feel like walking away from it. That would not benefit you, though, or
anyone else who is involved. Just do your part in the best way that you can,
and those who are following another may come to see that you are a better
candidate. Even if that doesn't happen, though, you will make a valuable
contribution to something positive.
