    Kevin Herrera has appealed his five-game suspension.

    And he'll be available out of the Royals' bullpen until there's a
    decision on the appeal. Herrera was handed the five-game sentence
    from Major League Baseball on Tuesday for throwing at A's third
    baseman Brett Lawrie on Sunday afternoon in Kansas City. Herrera,
    who throws 100 mph, also pointed to his own head as he was walking
     off the field -- which looked like a threat toward Lawrie. The
    five-game sentence should probably stand.
