BA這期的Q&A .... 1. Carlos Correa, ss, Miami University: He went 1-1 in 2012. Three years later, he’s bigger, stronger and arguably even a tick faster as he prepares to reach the big leagues. He would likely go the same spot in the 2015 draft. 2. Byron Buxton, of, Georgia: The Buxton-Correa debates began in the lead-up to the 2012 draft. They likely won’t be settled until 10-15 years from now. Both are premium talents who play up the middle positions. Both would be highly coveted in this draft class. 3. Corey Seager, ss, South Carolina: The debates on how to line up this draft board would be epic, as some teams might like Seager’s outstanding lefthanded stroke the best of this entire draft class. Seager is still likely to end up at third base, but his excellent hit tool combined with above-average power is a rare combo. 4. Addison Russell, ss, Auburn: If high school players weren’t draft-eligible in baseball, the shape of the Southeastern Conference race may have been a little different this year. Could you imagine the conference’s shortstops if you added Seager, Russell and Gavin Cecchini (Mississippi) to Dansby Swanson and Alex Bregman? Russell has already made it to the majors, which is a reminder of how going pro out of high school can speed up a player ’s timetable. 5. Lucas Giolito, rhp, UCLA: Literally anyone in this top five could make a case to go 1-1 in this alternative-universe draft but Giolito makes a very compelling case, even though he’s slotted fifth here. As the owner of one of the best fastballs and breaking balls in baseball, he would check off all the boxes teams look for in a 1-1 pick if he was finishing up his junior year at UCLA. 6. Joey Gallo, 3b, Louisiana State: Much like Kris Bryant, Gallo’s power would have overcome the deadball-era balls of the 2013-2014 college game, and it’s frightening to think how well he would have done with the improved baseballs teams are using this year. 7. David Dahl, of, Auburn: In this alternative universe, the SEC tournament in Hoover, Ala., would have rivaled the Futures Game for talent with five of the top seven players in the draft class in addition to likely first-round picks Swanson, Bregman, Carson Fulmer, Andrew Benintendi, Walker Buehler and Richie Martin from this current class. How would all those teams have fit everyone into 11.7 scholarships? Glad we don’t have to figure that out but I ’m sure the coaches would have loved to have had that problem. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 220.132.25.7 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/MLB/M.1433776950.A.FF7.html
