TORONTO -- The Blue Jays reportedly have made a deal to acquire onetime Cy
Young Award winner David Price from the Tigers for three young left-handed
pitchers.

The clubs have not confirmed the trade.

Daniel Norris, Matt Boyd and Jairo Labourt have been reported to be the
players going to Detroit, with Norris being the centerpiece of the deal for
Price. The 22-year-old Norris made his Major League debut late last season
and started this year in Toronto's rotation before eventually getting
optioned to Triple-A Buffalo.

Norris would seem to be exactly the type of pitcher the Tigers are looking
for in any deal involving Price. He is ranked Toronto's No. 1 prospect by
MLBPipeline.com and he's ready to contribute at the big league level,
especially for an organization that will have some patience with his
development.

Norris看似就是老虎隊在Price交易中要找的對象。他是經MLBPipeline排名第一的藍鳥隊
潛力新秀，而且已經可以接受大聯盟層級的挑戰，特別的是對於他的發展有耐心的組織。

Boyd is ranked No. 11 among Toronto's prospects and Labourt is No. 19.
Outfielder Anthony Alford, the Blue Jays' No. 4 prospect, was another name
that was bandied about in reports, but he is not part of the deal.

Boyd是藍鳥隊排名第11的潛力新秀，而Labourt是藍鳥隊排名第19位。外野手Anthony

Price is 9-4 with a 2.53 ERA while striking out 138 in 146 innings. He's a
bona fide ace that Detroit has been looking to deal because he's set to hit
free agency at the end of the season. The 29-year-old also is a proven
commodity in the American League East after spending seven years with Tampa
Bay.
