Dodgers sign outfielder Jordan Schafer to minor league contract

As first reported by Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, the Dodgers have signed
outfielder Jordan Schafer to a minor league contract with an invitation to
spring training. The deal will play Schafer a $1 million salary while he is
in the major leagues, if he ever does reach the major league level with Los
Angeles.

Yesterday the Dodgers signed journeyman outfielder Jordan Schafer to a
minor-league contract and now Jon Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that they
did so with plans to convert him to a pitcher.
