標題[情報] 海賊跟Gregory Polanco簽下延長合約

The Pirates have reached an agreement to extend outfielder Gregory Polanco for
the next five seasons with two option years, tweets Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports
. The deal is expected to be a $35MM guarantee and will exceed $60MM if both
options are exercised, tweets Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
海賊跟Polanco達成延長合約,合約從17-21再加上22,23兩個options
保證金額是35M,如果兩個options都被行使,總值就會超過60M
Polanco, 24, was previously controllable through 2020. The extension will
guarantee those seasons plus the 2021 campaign, buying out his first season of
free agency. If Pittsburgh picks up both options, he can reach free agency
after the 2023 season — his age-31 campaign. Polanco is a client of Beverly
Hills Sports Council.
Polanco目前24歲,預計2021進FA,因此原本的五年約是delay一年FA
如果兩個options都被行使,就是delay三年進FA,到時候他會是31歲
外野三本柱的McCutchen目前合約還剩16-17,以及18一個option
Marte則是到19再加上20,21兩個options
