標題[情報] Pennington exit with hamstring crampEd

ANAHEIM -- Angels shortstop Cliff Pennington left Thursday night's game agains
t the Cardinals with cramping in his left hamstring, the team announced.
Pennington was removed with no outs in the top of the fifth inning during Card
inals outfielder Stephen Piscotty's at-bat. Brendan Ryan replaced Pennington a
t shortstop. Pennington was 2-for-2 with an RBI when he was removed from the g
ame.
This is not the first injury issue the Angels have had at the position this we
ek. Andrelton Simmons sustained a thumb injury in Sunday's loss to the Rays, a
nd has since gone on the disabled list after undergoing thumb surgery. He is e
xpected to miss a minimum of six weeks.
