[外電] Judge underwent left shoulder surgery

Breakout Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his
 left shoulder, according to a club announcement. Per the announcement, Judge
received a “loose-body removal and cartilage clean-up.”

Fortunately for New York, the surgery does not seem to be a major concern for
the young outfielder. He is expected to wrap up his rehab in time to participa
te fully for Spring Training.

Last spring, expectations for Judge were mixed. He had struggled in his MLB de
but in 2016 and was not even a sure thing to make the Opening Day roster. But
he ended up turning in a monster campaign, taking home Rookie of the Year hono
rs and placing second in the MVP race in the American League.
