Tigers’ Travis Wood tears ACL, likely out for season
Lakeland, Fla. — Manager Ron Gardenhire wasn’t wrong. He said the injury
sustained by left-handed pitcher Travis Wood Thursday didn’t look good.
It was not.
An MRI revealed that Wood tore both the ACL and the medial meniscus in his
left knee. The Tigers are mulling surgical options, but the injury likely
will put Wood out for the season.

經過了核磁共振的檢查之後
顯示他的左膝前十字韌帶以及內側半月板都有出現撕裂，目前球團正在評估手術的方案
不過對於他來說今年新球季很可能就此報銷了
Wood 休賽季期間與老虎隊簽下一紙小聯盟合約，並且附帶大聯盟的春訓邀請
前一陣子他也因為打獵時操作十字弓不慎，造成右手的食指骨折
