Milwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt, who was close to rejoining the team
after injuring his shoulder in spring training, instead will have surgery
this week that will sideline the 33-year-old veteran for the season.


釀酒人捕手，Stephen Vogt，春訓時肩膀受傷，原本預計最近要回歸球隊，不過這禮拜的
消息是Stephen Vogt將會進行手術，讓這位33歲的老將2018年季整季報銷。




While with Double-A Biloxi, Vogt, reinjured the shoulder while making a throw
on May 5. He had an MRI, which showed damage to the rotator cuff, labrum and
capsule, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.


而上個禮拜在跟釀酒人AA球隊一起打球時，Vogt因投球再次不小心傷到他的肩膀。根據密
爾瓦基當地的報社報導，在照過MRI之後，這次受傷傷到他的旋轉肌群、肩盂唇(這塊不是
很懂@@)。



As first reported by MLB.com, the severity of the injury was confirmed
Tuesday by specialist Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles.


禮拜二給洛杉磯的醫師 Dr.ElAttrache看過後，確定此傷的嚴重性。



Vogt had surgery on his labrum in 2009, and he was worried last week about
the toll of a second surgery. He has been moved to the 60-day disabled list.


Vogt的肩盂唇在2009年時已經動過手術，而上禮拜接受採訪時說他很擔心要動第2次。
Vogt已經被釀酒人移到60天傷兵名單。



"Obviously, there are big implications here with a second shoulder injury
like this that I don't like to think about but I am thinking about," Vogt
said last week. "I felt everything go wrong that could go wrong with a
shoulder.


「很明顯的，要動第2次像這樣的手術，是有一定的暗示的。而暗示的這件事是我不願去
想像得，不過我現在只想著這件事。」 Vogt上禮拜接受採訪時說到。「所有事情都會亂

Vogt, who has a career .251 batting average with 57 home runs and 218 RBIs,
was entering his first full season with the Brewers. He was claimed off
waivers after being designated for assignment by the Oakland Athletics in
2017.
