我們錯了。

That's essentially the message the Marlins are sending prospective
season-ticket holders as the team revamps its ticket strategy in the first
push under new owners Bruce Sherman and Derek Jeter.
那大概就是馬林魚新經營團隊-Bruce Sherman跟Derek Jeter--在他們重新擬定他們的賣票
策略後第一波寫給他們有可能的季票購買者的信的主要內容。

The team is lowering prices by up to 25 percent, the Miami Herald reported.
The Marlins also are increasing “member” benefits with food and drink
discounts and instituting a points system that will give fans rewards, such
as interacting with players and watching batting practice on the field.
根據邁阿密當地報紙報導，馬林魚降他們的票價，降幅達到25趴。他們也增加了"會員"優
待，像是飲食折扣；也引進點數回饋系統，讓球迷有些回饋，像是可以跟球員互動或是可

“I don’t want the narrative to be we’re lowering ticket prices because we
have to,” Chip Bowers, the Marlins’ president of business operations, told
the Herald. “The reality is we’re lowering ticket prices because we screwed
up to begin with. We weren’t very smart. So we had to take a step back and
say everything needs to be scraped.”

The Marlins were already in the middle of their 2018 season-ticket push when
the new ownership group took over last October.

But any fan enthusiasm over the ownership change quickly evaporated as the
Marlins traded away their best players in the offseason: Dee Gordon to the
Mariners; 2017 NL MVP Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees; Marcell Ozuna to the
Cardinals; and Christian Yelich to the Brewers.
球迷的熱情在經營權易主後瞬間就被撲滅，馬林魚在休賽季的時候把他們的好手都給交易

The average attendance of 10,088 at Marlins Park ranks last in the majors as
they entered Monday with a 53-79 record, the second worst in the National
League behind the Padres (50-83).
本季平均進場人數是10088人，全聯盟最低，目前戰績是53-79，國聯倒數第二，只比教士
好(50-83)。

“It’s very difficult to be a Marlins fan,” season ticket holder Mark
Hopkins told the Herald.
「要當馬林魚粉真的好難，」一位季票擁有者跟記者說。
