Hit-by-pitches aren't fun for anybody. For the pitcher, it's a wasted pitch
and a free pass to the hitter. For the hitter, well, he's obviously the one
who has to actually deal with the baseball striking his body, usually at a
velocity that would make any of us watching at home wince in comiseration.

對所有人來說，觸身球都不是樂事。對投手來說，他浪費一球而且讓打者上壘。對打者來
說，他則是被球砸中的當事者，而且那球速通常會讓在家觀看球賽的我們皺眉。

But it's usually only the hitter who has to absorb the blow. It's not usually
a three-person experience, but that's what happened in Wednesday's
Nats-Phillies game when a Stephen Strasburg pitch hit Jorge Alfaro,
redirected into Matt Wieters' facemask and then ricocheted off home-plate
umpire Hunter Wendelstedt, leaving all three in a state of, "Oh come on,
really?"

但是通常只有打者需要受難；普通情況下這不會變成三人同享的經驗，但是這就發生了:
周三晚上的Nats-Phillies球賽中Stephen Strasburg所投出的球砸中Jorge Alfaro，反彈
到Matt Wieters的面罩後又彈往主審Hunter Wendelstedt，讓三者同時心裡默默問:「這
是真的嗎?」
