Cubs have considered/discussed Jacoby Ellsbury. Probably a long shot but Cubs
have a leadoff issue and Ellsbury is a surprise free agent after being release
d. JE hasn’t played in 2 years so before moving forward they’d want to gauge
 his interest/mindset.

Cubs manager David Ross believes in a true leadoff hitter and remembers how hi
s former teammate Jacoby Ellsbury set the tone at the top of the order for the
 2013 World Series champion Red Sox.

But Ross is ready to adjust to his roster.



小熊隊最近和自由球員Jacoby Ellsbury有聯繫。

小熊總教練David Ross相信有一個好的開路先鋒會對球隊很有幫助，他也想起當年Ellsbu
ry就是在這個角色上幫助紅襪奪冠、成為重要功臣之一，而小熊也一直都沒有一個穩定的
開路先鋒。

但畢竟Ellsbury已經兩年沒在大聯盟打球，所以目前普遍還是認為簽約的機率不高，而Da
vid Ross也準備好讓自己去適應小熊隊的打線了。
