The sticking point with the Bryan Reynolds' contract is indeed an opt out, per s

They seem to be set at eight years and in the $106 million range, but Reynolds'
desire for an opt out to be in the contract has held up the completion of a deal

Reynolds is willing to backload the money, per source. So an opt-out would mean
walking away from the most expensive years.

It's also viewed as unlikely that money would solve it. Reynolds' camp felt it g
ave with $$$ and the NTC and doesn't also want to lose the opt-out.
