Slugger Brent Rooker and the Athletics are in agreement on a five-year, $60 mill
ion contract, sources tell ESPN. The deal includes a sixth-year vesting option a
t $22 million that can escalate. Another big-money deal for A’s as they spend.

Brent Rooker’s extension with the A’s will pay him $30 million over the first 
three seasons, which would’ve been his arbitration years. Rooker, 30, has been 
a late bloomer who thrived with the A’s, and after they turned down opportuniti
es to trade him, they instead extend him.

等於用30M買下兩個FA年
