球團內擔任一個權力相當大、職責範圍廣泛的重要角色，此舉讓球隊高層感到不滿
此外Breslow 給人的印象是態度較為強硬、缺乏彈性，並沒有展現出願意考慮球隊原本可能
規劃的其他職位，紅襪隊這群擁有豐富經驗、曾打造冠軍球隊的管理層很快便意識到，雙方
並不適合合作
球團內部有些人認為，考量到 Breslow 完全沒有球團管理層工作的經驗，他所要求的職位
權限與層級實在過於龐大
