Man United failed to beat relegated Fulham despite Edinson Cavani's goal and
here are how the players rated at Old Trafford.
David de Gea - 7
Possibly claimed the assist for Edinson Cavani's magnificent goal and saved
well in the second-half.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 5
Offered width in attack but his crossing often let him down. Tailed off in the
second-half and culpable for Joe Bryan's equaliser.
Victor Lindelof - 5
His floundering defending gifted Fabio Carvalho an easy chance to equalise but
he fluffed his lines.
Axel Tuanzebe - 7
Another composed performance that suggests Eric Bailly is not certain to get
the nod in Gdansk if Harry Maguire is not fit.
Luke Shaw - 7
Accomplished again on the day he was named players' player of the year and
posed a threat with his corners.
Scott McTominay - 6
Energetic enough as he was paired with Fred again. Came off with an apparent
injury on the hour.
Fred - 6
Tracked back selflessly and frequently harried opponents to cement his starting
place in Gdansk once and for all.
Mason Greenwood - 5
Did not produce the compelling audition that makes a start in Gdansk a
certainty. Should have scored at 1-0.
Bruno Fernandes - 7
Industrious as ever and drew a save from Alphonse Areola. Close to scoring from
a free-kick.
Paul Pogba - 6
Coasted through the first-half but collaborated well with Shaw. Moved to
midfield for the final half-an-hour.
Edinson Cavani - 8
Scored what deserves to be remembered as one of the great Old Trafford goals to
welcome back fans.
Subs
Marcus Rashford - 5
Dived to win a free-kick.
Amad - 5
Got into good positions but lost the ball.
Donny van de Beek - 5
No impact.
Manager - 6
Right to pick a strong enough side to maintain United's competitive edge and
adventurous with substitutions.
