[微積] 微積分考試的應用題目

不好意思不知道這種題目能不能在這個版問

真的完全無法理解題目在問什麼
是在微積分考古題上看到的
題目如下：
Car A is traveling west at 90km/h and car B is traveling north at 100km/h.
Both are headed for the intersection of the two roads.
At what rate are the cars approaching each other when car A is 6km
and car B is 8 km from the intersection.

我的理解：
A車以時速90公里往西邊走，B車以時速100公里往北邊走，兩車將在兩條路的交叉口相會
當A車離交叉口6公里遠，B車離交叉口8公里遠時兩方是以什麼rate靠近彼此?

阿不就是以90公里跟100公里靠近彼此嗎?
不知道這題到底要算什麼也不曉得怎麼列式

推 LPH66       : 要算的是瞬時相對速率, 注意車子一台往西一台往北
推 sam7207     : 隱函數微分 相關變化率
→ sam7207     : 兩車距離對時間（t）的函數寫出來
→ sam7207     : 接著對t微分
→ sam7207     : 就可以得到兩車距離的變化率
