[機統] hypergeometric p.d.f.問題

想問一題hypergeometric p.d.f問題如下

看了解答但其實對題目較不了解

請教各位高手


If X has a hypergeometric distribution with M=3,
N=6, and n=2

find the probability distribution of Y, the number of successes
minus the number of failures


我整理出:

h(x; n, N, M)=[3Cx * (6-3)C(2-x)]/6C2=[(3Cx)(3C(2-x))]/15

然後就不太知道怎麼往下了


答案是

h(-2)=1/5

h(0)=3/5

h(2)=1/5
