[其他] 台大 108-1 學期「應用數學方法」課程

跟各位分享我在台灣大學 108-1 學期開設「應用數學方法」的課程大綱跟影片。

我在德國留學時修習六學期的「動力系統」，該課程主要由我針對「動力系統一」跟
「動力系統二」部分內容的擇取跟改良。由於我留學時有台灣獎學金的資助，希望透
過該課程能反饋些微貢獻。

註：

＊課程概述

動力系統（dynamical system）是研究「變動」的數學理論。它起源於天體力學，是
「決定論」（determinism）宇宙觀的基礎，近代則與「隨機」跟「混沌」不斷纏鬥。

本課程將從動力系統的觀點研究微分方程，並介紹基本的質性分析（qualitative
analysis）方法來掌握微分方程解的「幾何行為」（geometric behavior）。

主要方法如下：

一、存在唯一性理論：即使不知道確切解（exact solutions）公式，仍然能確定解
存在並唯一。

二、局部穩定性理論：掌握初始條件擾動時，解相對應擾動的程度。
、分歧理論：探討微分方程中特定參數擾動時，所有解形成的相圖（phase portrait）
變動的連續性。

上述質性分析方法為近代微分方程研究的基礎，在計算科學領域也已發展出相關的演算法
和套件。但請留意本課程著重於數學理論，不涉及數值計算。
