[外電] Report: LaMarcus Aldridge wants to ret

The writing has been on the wall for some time now for LaMarcus Aldridge and
the Portland Trail Blazers.

Last week, a columnist at Oregon Live said all signs pointed to the former
Texas Longhorns and Seagoville basketball star leaving the team that traded
for him on draft day after being selected No. 2 overall in 2006, but a new
report gives a better indication that the four-time All-Star may want to come
home.

According to Bleacher Report's Ric Bucher, Aldridge is unhappy with team
struggles and his role in the Portland organization. He is reportedly
"aggressively exploring options other than returning to the Blazers." While
there is "no clear-cut better situation for him than what he has in
Portland," league sources tell Bucher that the biggest threat to his leaving
Portland is the "general idea of returning to Texas" with the Mavericks as
the favorite to sign him at this point.

Of the three NBA teams in Texas, the Mavericks and Spurs currently have the
salary cap space to sign a max-contract player like Aldridge, but Bucher's
sources indicate the Spurs are "either off his list or not very high on it."

While a move to Dallas would return Aldridge to his hometown, it would come
at a hefty cost for the 30-year-old. By not signing with the Blazers,
Aldridge would be leaving $27 million on the table. A sign-and-trade
situation could change things, but the report says sources are skeptical
whether it could be agreed upon
