Mavericks-Clippers Preview

The Los Angeles Clippers will host the Dallas Mavericks on Friday at Staples
Center. The Clippers (22-8) are coming off a major win against one of the
Western Conference's best teams in the San Antonio Spurs, but point guard
Chris Paul did leave late in the third quarter with a hamstring strain.

Paul is listed as questionable ahead of the matchup with the Mavericks,

stepped up in Paul's place, garnering enough attention on the offensive end to
have Kawhi Leonard assigned to him in the fourth quarter that eventually fell
the Clippers way in a 106-101 win on Thursday.

of their best stretches of the very rough start to the season that has been
plagued by injuries. Add J.J. Barea (achilles) to the list of those of injuries,
as he is listed as questionable for Friday's game.

Dallas pulled out 96-95 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, led
by Harrison Barnes and Deron Williams. Barnes finished with 28 points and seven
rebounds across 36 minutes, while Williams contributed 23 points, five assists
and five rebounds.
