1991上場的M60有海陸的M60A1 RISE 和陸軍(戰時交給空軍The 401st TFW)的M60A3 TTS

M60A3參與機場守衛的工作和守備油霸的工作

During Operation Desert Storm in 1991 at least one US Air Force unit was
equipped with M60s. The 401st TFW (P), deployed to Doha, Qatar had two M60s
for use by explosives ordnance disposal personnel. It was planned that using
the MBTs would allow the EOD crews to remove unexploded ordnance from tarmac
runway and taxiway surfaces with increased safety.

真正參戰的是海陸的RISE PATTERN

In early February 1991, US Marines used 200 M60A1s of the 2nd Battalion drove
north from Khafji, Saudi Arabia into Kuwait. In Kuwait, they encountered an
Iraqi force of T-54/55, Type 69, and T-72 tanks at Kuwait City International
Airport. The Marines won this battle, destroying some 100 Iraqi tanks with
only one M60A1 lost.

不過戰後海陸所有M60A1就沒升到A3直接換M1A1了

有戰例我想也不用再懷疑T72 M60強弱

畢竟M60A3是A1的升級版(加上彈道計算機和夜視鏡和新通訊裝備)

大幅強化資訊戰和標定,移動命中能力(1980的標準)

倒是伊拉克T72多猴我是很懷疑

The vast majority of T-72s do not have FLIR thermal imaging sights, though
all T-72s (even those exported to the Third World) possess the characteristic
(and inferior) 'Luna' Infrared illuminator. Thermal imaging sights are
extremely expensive, and the new Russian FLIR system, the 'Buran-Catherine
Thermal Imaging Suite' was only introduced recently on the T-80UM tank.
Most T-72s found outside the former Soviet Union do not have laser
rangefinders. T-72 built for export have a downgraded fire-control
system.

裝甲可沒降級

同篇有表格比較，沒裝反應的T72正面都約300-500

不用上釉彈的M68A1就可以輕鬆打穿




倒是俄制武器言吹的天花亂墬實戰發現根本言過其實也不是1.2次

1984年把中東戰爭的L7拿來測試發現不得了

T80(很多文獻沒提，估計不敢報，但少數有提到T80砲塔，車體也被貫穿) T72

都被貫穿，結果是砲塔上裝了25MM裝甲了事(裝完沒再測???)

1984...西德境內都是M1甚至是豹2(120MM)了...這樣要怎麼打裝甲洪流

難怪XM1剛開始先用M68主砲，不是因為主砲研發不到位，是因為"這樣就夠了"

1990拿RPG29實車測試發現全部3台T80U都被打穿，T90 3台打穿2台...

裝完反應裝甲T80才能達到3台留1台 T903台都沒打穿

相較於2003全伊拉克成百上千RPG29戰果是挑戰者的3根腳趾和2台M1A2的側面...




海灣戰爭T72被M60"貫穿" 怪猴版，車臣打2.3次T80U-72M2掛了200台怪戰術

下次打輸要怪甚麼??

如果中共的96.99式裝甲沒有大幅超過"T80U"我想躲在各種掩體的M60很夠用了
