CNO在聽證會上說，松華特的一些要素都會與未來水面艦共通
他說海軍已經在松華特上學到很多經驗，這些經驗都會整合進未來水面艦中

針對緬因州(BIW老家)議員蘇珊柯林斯
對於海軍如何避免BIW在從柏克轉換到松華特時所發生的問題再度出現
CNO說維持流程初期的穩定將會是關鍵

只是我覺得他回答了一句屁話

It’s stability of requirements and stability of design that allows us to put
together a program that meets the nation’s needs that is stable and
predictable and then can be executed in a way that is a smooth and sails
right through.

...我真的不知道他在講什麼

會後CNO跟記者講說：我不想說得太具體，不然好像現在就有現貨船體一樣
他的意思是經驗，海軍已經在松華特與其他計畫上學的很多了
活用這些經驗就會讓海軍能更快推動計畫
