Statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland in
connection with the statement by the US Secretary of State on providing
airplanes to Ukraine

The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the
President and the Goverment, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of
charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at
the disposal of the Government of the United States of America.

At the same time, Poland requests the United States to provide us with used
aircraft with corresponding operational capabilities. Poland is ready to
immediately establish the conditions of purchase of the planes.

The Polish Government also requests other NATO Allies – owners of MIG-29
jets – to act in the same vein.

剛剛的消息
波蘭政府最終還是同意向美方釋出MIG-29轉交烏克蘭
公告指波蘭會把「所有」的MIG-29在德國拉姆施泰因空軍基地正式轉交美方
(為什麼不直接在波蘭境內?可能是避免外交上與俄國起衝突?)
文中說明這批MIG-29是免費的，但亦要求美國提供「相近戰力」的二手軍機予波蘭
波蘭已準備向美國購入這些替代的戰機 (所謂購入應該只是象徵式售價)
特別的是文中波蘭也鼓勵其他有MIG-29的北約成員國跟美國進行同樣的交易
