官員表示

國務卿Rubio先前曾給予國會八人幫大約一個小時的簡報

(八人幫：參眾兩院的兩黨領袖和情報委員會正副主席)

在開打伊朗前夕，Rubio又分別向八人幫的每一位打電話告知
(但其中一人沒打通，所以通知到七個人)

美國國防部也在開打後第一時間向國會國防委員會進行了通報
