Suns' Josh Jackson Was Involved In "Malice At The Palace" As An 8-Year Old

One current NBA baller played a part in 2004's "Malice at the Palace."
Phoenix Suns forward Josh Jackson told Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated that
at eight-years-old he was present for the infamous "Malice at the Palace"
brawl in Detroit. the Detroit-native entering his 3rd season in the NBA was
sitting in the stands with his parents when all hell broke loose. He recalls
seeing Pacers' forward Jermaine O'Neal getting hit with a chair. Most of the
melee remains ingrained, including the infamous scene where Ron Artest (Metta
World Peace) lay outstretched on the scorer's table while drinks were being
thrown at him by rowdy Piston fans, angry to see the game disrupted over a
mere pushing match.

曾有一名現役球員參與過2004年的"奧本山大亂鬥"
太陽隊前鋒Josh Jackson告訴記者Marc J. Spears，他在8歲的時候，身在著名的"
奧本山大亂鬥"底特律現場。事件爆發時，身為一個密西根州當地長大(加州出生)的小孩，
他在踏入NBA世界第三年時，和雙親坐在底特律場邊看球，並目睹事件爆發。
他回憶親眼目睹Jermaine O'Neal被椅子丟到，還有Ron Artest躺在記錄台上，被一名因
為衝突導致比賽暫停，進而憤怒的活塞球迷丟飲料，那些畫面都相當生動。

The Phoenix Suns' forward even admitted that he too took part in the
exchange, throwing a well-aimed water bottle right into the heart of the
action. "I was looking around and everyone was throwing something onto the
court. I am not going to lie. I threw a water bottle," he told Spears. "Why?
It’s my home team. I’m a Pistons fan. What? The Pacers came in here
throwing punches on my favorite players. I couldn’t have that. But that is
neither here nor there."

Josh Jackson承認他也有稍微參與衝突:他丟了一瓶水，"我環顧四周，所有人都朝
場中丟東西，我認真的，我也丟了一瓶水。"
"你問為什麼?這是我家鄉的隊伍，我是底特律活塞的球迷。"
"什麼?溜馬隊正在傷害我愛的球員們，不論我在不在場都無法忍受。"

The recent Lakers-Rockets brawl has reignited fan-interest in some of the
more iconic, or rather aggressive moments in NBA history. For all we know, an
eight-year-old Josh Jackson may have been a catalyst in the "Malice" brawl.
The Pistons-Pacers' fan brawl carried with it a multitude of suspensions.
Interestingly enough, Tayshaun Prince was the only player not to leave his
bench on that fateful evening.

最近湖人和火箭的衝突，又重燃了球迷們對於NBA歷史上類似事件的興趣---就連8
歲的Josh Jackson也可能是衝突事件的導火線之一，而當年活塞溜馬的球員球迷衝突，是
由多種原因催化之下造成。
有趣的是，Tayshaun Prince是當下唯一一個沒有離開板凳的球員。
