Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts has received a contract
extension from the team.

波特蘭拓荒者隊主教練Terry Stotts獲得了一份延長合約

Stotts has been with the Blazers since 2012. He has a regular season record
of 440-417 and a playoff mark of 20-36. There were whispers that the Blazers
were going to fire Stotts last season after Portland was swept by the New
Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the playoffs, but ownership decided to
stick behind Stotts and it paid off this season.

替球隊拿下440勝417敗的例行賽戰績及20勝36敗的季後賽戰績
去年首輪遭紐奧良鵜鶘橫掃後 曾傳出消息有意開除Stotts
但球隊決定支持Stotts續任 並在這個賽季得到了回報

The players on the Blazers love Stotts. They play hard for him every single
night. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have spoken openly about how Stotts
trusts them and lets them play their game no matter what.

拓荒者隊員們都很喜歡Stotts且每晚努力的為他打球

Portland’s season didn’t end the way the team wanted it to, but it was
still a successful season. Getting to the Western Conference Finals is no
easy task. Portland had to deal with a lot of adversity this season, too. The
death of owner Paul Allen at the beginning of the season and then the
gruesome leg injury big man Jusuf Nurkic suffered were tough blows for the
organization.

即使拓荒者這個賽季沒有結束如他們預期的一樣
但這個賽季仍是一個成功的賽季
打進了西區冠軍賽並不是一件容易的一件事
尤其是本季拓荒者遭遇到老闆Paul Allen過世 以及中鋒Jusuf Nurkic的受傷
對拓荒者來說皆是一次又一次沉痛的打擊
