Back in 2013, then-OKC star Kevin Durant made an interesting statement in an
interview on The Dan Patrick Show.
時間回到2013年，那時候還是雷霆明星的Kevin Durant在"The Dan Patrick Show"的電訪
時講了一段非常有趣的話。

“Believe it or not, I wanted to play for the Toronto Raptors, that was my
favorite team. They were a new team when I was growing up, so I wanted to be
a part of that,” Durant said.
「不管你們信不信，我想替多倫多暴龍打球，那是我最愛的一支隊伍。他們在我小時候建
軍的，所以我希望可以成為那支隊伍的一員，」KD說。

He also cited Vince Carter as a reason for his fandom:
他也說其中一部分原因是因為他是VC粉。

“His enthusiasm he showed, just his athleticism, and how he brought Toronto
from being one of the newer teams in the league to almost going to the
finals. He changed the culture there in Toronto.”

He wanted to be a Raptors growing up. Six years later, Durant is playing
against the Raptors in the NBA Finals.

His previous desire to play in Toronto has since been buried, and nobody has
thought for a second that he would end up playing for the franchise. Even
now, most think New York is the place to go. But if Kawhi leaves and the
Raptors are left broken-hearted, it is not too late for Durant to save day,
especially as a 30-year-old superstar entering free agency.
他小時候想加入暴龍的想法已經埋藏心裡，也沒有人會認為他可能最後可以替暴龍打球。
即使是現在，大部分人都還是認為他會去紐約尼克。但是，若是可愛最終離開暴龍，讓暴
龍傷心欲絕時，KD有可能可以成為拯救暴龍的人，尤其是30歲的他今夏會成為FA。

Regardless of KD’s decision though, the Raptors might be more appealing to
stars then we are giving them credit for. The city is electric, the franchise
is smart and stable, and there is a bright and storied history of players who
have worn that jersey. KD was once a fan, who is to say everybody else isn’t?
不管最後KD的決定為何，暴龍對吸引球星的能力可能遠比我們大家以為的強。多倫多是個
有熱情的城市，暴龍球團經營穩健且精明，而且也有許多有名的球星曾穿過暴龍的球衣。
KD曾經是暴龍粉，誰說沒有其他球員也會是暴龍粉呢?
