To say that the Brooklyn Nets had an interesting time during their preseason
games in China is an understatement. Given the Chinese government’s anger
towards the league due to the tweet of Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey, it’s
easy to say that the words Kyrie Irving told Adam Silver during his
players-only meeting with the Nets and Los Angeles Lakers are intense.
若是說籃網在中國的熱身賽是段有趣的時光是有點太小看了，看到中國政府因為火箭總管
Morey的推特而對聯盟暴跳如雷的程度來看，很容易就可以說那場Adam Silver跟籃網-湖人
球員對談時，Kyrie Irving跟Adam Silver講的內容會很激烈。

Apparently, he had some words to say to the commissioner when it comes to the
situation they’re now in. According to what he told the press for the first
time since their China trip, his words had something to do with his beliefs.
很顯然的，當時處在那樣的狀況，他跟聯盟主席一定有些話想說的。不過根據記者報導，
在從中國回來之後，他跟記者說的內容，當時他講的話跟他的內在信仰有關。

"Kyrie Irving on what he said when meeting with Adam Silver in China (in
part): "I stand for four things, man. Inner peace. Freedom. Equality and
World Peace. So, if that is being conflicted inside of me, I am definitely
going to have something to say."
「Kyrie Irving講到他在中國與Adam Silver講的內容(部分)：『我有四個信念。內在和平
(Inner peace)，自由(Freedom)，平等(Equality)以及世界和平(World peace)。所以，若
是跟我的內在信念有衝突的話，我是一定會說出來的。』」

Interpreting his words, it’s plausible that the star point guard told Silver
what he thought about the Hong Kong Freedom movement and the repercussions of
standing up to what you believe in. If he is for democracy, then he would
have said words in support of the Hong Kong movement. However, he didn’t
clarify his words, so it’s unknown what he really said to the commissioner.
若是按照他字面上的意思來看，他可能有跟Silver講到他對香港爭自由運動以及堅持自己
信念所產生的影響。所以，若是他是支持民主的話，那他應該會跟Silver講到他支持香港
運動；但是，他沒有交代的很清楚，所以到底他跟Silver講了什麼還是不知道。

Meanwhile, Silver is protecting Morey, insisting that the league will not bow
down to calls by the Chinese government to fire the GM.
而在同一時間，Silver在保護著Morey，堅持聯盟不會因為中國要求要開除Morey而跟中國
低頭。

“We made clear that we were being asked to fire him, by the Chinese
government, by the parties we dealt with, government and business,” Silver
said. “We said there’s no chance that’s happening. There’s no chance we’
ll even discipline him.”
「我們清楚的表示，中國政府以及聯盟正在交涉的其他公司團體都有要求聯盟要開除
Morey，」Silver說。「我們的回答是不可能，我們不可能會懲處他。」

The financial ramifications of the move will be felt throughout the league.
However, the NBA will protect their freedom of expression that allows players
like Irving and LeBron James to share their thoughts.
這次事件在財務上的影響是全聯盟都會感受到的，然而，聯盟會保護言論自由，會讓他們
的球員像是Irving或LBJ都可以表達自己的想法的。
