Mike James, who had some strong showings with the Nets last season after
signing with them in April, is a fully fledged free agent after @cskabasket
announced today that it has terminated its remaining contract with the
scoring guard.
Mike James was cleared to sign with the Nets late last season even though he
still had contractual ties to CSKA through 2023 ... making for a rarely seen
arrangement in the NBA that resembled a soccer-style loan.
