Manhattan prosecutors are dropping a second-degree assault charge against Rocket
s guard Kevin Porter Jr. due to "insufficient evidence."
 
The decision comes after it was revealed that Porter Jr. didn't break girlfriend
 Kysre Gondrezick's neck during an alleged fight last month.
 
曼哈頓檢察官因為火箭後衛Kevin Porter Jr.被指控的其中一項二級襲擊罪證據不足而不起
訴。
 
這項指控沒被起訴的原因是Kevin Porter Jr.上個月被指控的襲擊被發現並沒有使他女友Ky
sre Gondrezick的脖子骨折。

Kevin Porter Jr. still faces charges for second-degree strangulation and third-d
egree assault.
 
If convicted on the strangulation charge, he could face a maximum sentence of 7
years in prison.
 
即使如此，Kevin Porter Jr.仍面臨二級勒殺以及三級襲擊的起訴。
 
如果他勒殺的的起訴被定罪，他有可能面臨最高7年的刑期。
