According to sources, the Greek Freak has privately expressed a strong desire
to join one of the Los Angeles teams — either the Lakers or Clippers —
where he believes he can contend for another championship alongside elite
talent in a major market.League sources indicate that Giannis has not
formally requested a trade yet, but his dissatisfaction has reached a point
where he is open to exploring new opportunities this offseason. The Bucks,
currently fighting to stay relevant in the East, are aware of the superstar’
s feelings but have not ruled out the possibility of parting ways if no
long-term extension is reached by early October.
