Monday night was a busy one and there were plenty of injuries to go around.
The Hawks got back to their winning ways, the Warriors squeaked by the
Sixers, and the Pelicans are struggling without their key players,
which now also includes Ryan Anderson, in addition to Jrue Holiday and
Anthony Davis. Here’s what we learned.

hot coming in. Evan Fournier had 18 off the bench and looks like the best
fill-in.

on 4-of-12 shooting, but all it means is that now is a good time to try
to buy him from another owner.
He had just 11 points and five boards on Sunday.

month, but could have a nice second half if he can stay hot and Wade
continues to miss games.

shooting over his last five games.
It took him some time to figure it out, and the only question now is how
high will he be drafted next year? I don’t know the answer, but my guess
is you better plan on using a second-round pick
if you want him. Especially if Mike Gallagher is at your draft.

Dudley had really cooled off with the emergence of Giannis and Khris Middleton,
but hit 7-of-10 shots and 5-of-5 3-pointers for 19 points, four rebounds,
two assists and three steals.

DeMarre Carroll scored a season-high 26 (with three steals and two 3-pointers)

steal and two blocks after scoring just six on Sunday.

3-pointer on 7-of-14 shooting after missing 16 straight games with an
oblique strain.
I think he makes for a nice pick up if he was dropped in your league,
despite the presence of Kevin Martin and Andrew Wiggins. Gorgui Dieng got
hot for six points, 12 boards, a steal and five blocks off the bench in 24
minutes, while Nikola Pekovic had 14 points and eight boards in 24 minutes.
The timeshare is on, but Dieng’s the shot blocker.

Jazz, while Burke missed all 10 of his shots and failed to score.
Dante Exum is still starting, but hit just 3-of-11 shots for eight points,
five dimes and two 3-pointers, and Burke is still the guy you want to own here.

Alexis Ajinca is relevant as long as Anthony Davis is out

Alexis Ajinca started in place of Davis and hit 4-of-7 shots for eight points,
four rebounds and two blocks in 27 minutes for the Pelicans. Hopefully AD is
back from his shoulder injury after the All-Star break, but if he’s not,
Ajinca could make some noise.

Both of those guys are must-starts these days.

Hawes started, but played just 14 minutes for four points and one rebound.
I didn’t see the game, but my guess is that the Clippers went small when
Tyson Chandler went down early, and simply didn’t need to use Hawes.

rebounds, a steal and three blocks. That’s his second 20-20 in the last week
after not having one in his first 481 games.
He should keep it rolling with Griffin out for the next three weeks (or more).
Don’t panic on Hawes. Like I said, they just didn’t need him last night.
Griffin had surgery Monday and will be reevaluated in three weeks. J.J. Redick
returned from his back injury and had 15 points and three 3-pointers in a
start. Jamal Crawford wasn’t bothered by his return and had 22 points off
the bench, despite not hitting a 3-pointer. Chris Paul was also a beast with
25 points, six boards, 13 assists, two steals and a 3-pointer, and Matt
Barnes got loose for 12 points, seven boards, three assists, two steals and
two 3-pointers. Barnes should also be more effective with Griffin down and out.

Tyson Chandler and Monta Ellis were both out very early in this one and won’t
play for the Mavs on Wednesday. J.J. Barea had 15 points, seven assists and a
3-pointer, and gains even more traction with Ellis joining Rajon Rondo in
street clothes. I have no idea who is going to step up in the absence of
Ty-Chan, but it was Charlie Villanueva on Monday, who exploded for a
season-high 26 points, five rebounds and five 3-pointers on 9-of-13 shooting
in 23 minutes. I’m not picking him up, but he at least has my attention on
Wednesday against the Jazz.

McGary stayed hot on Monday with 17 points, 10 rebounds and a block in 25
minutes off the Thunder bench. With Steven Adams injured and Kendrick
Perkins looking like a grumpy old man, McGary’s worth a short-term look,
as well as a cheap DFS play on Wednesday (although he could struggle against
a strong Memphis D). McGary had his best game of the season on Sunday with
19 points and 10 boards, and backed it up in a big way tonight.
He could be on his way to a nice second half.
Kevin Durant scored 40 and Russell Westbrook had 26 points and nine dimes in
the win over Denver.

Jusuf Nurkic proves his worth

Jusuf Nurkic證明他值得

Nurkic had 16 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and a block on 6-of-10 shooting
before fouling out against the Thunder. He’s been up and down like a yo-yo
all season, but is averaging 9.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2.0
blocks over his last five for the Nuggets, meaning he should still be owned.

本季他像是溜溜球一樣，表現上上下下地

不過近5場有著平均9.8分、8.8板、1.2抄與2.0鍋

這表示他仍值得被繼續持有


Kenneth Faried also double-doubled, Wilson Chandler scored 23 and Ty Lawson
had 22 points, nine dimes and five 3-pointers in the loss.
