A former renowned sell-side analyst (previous head of regional technology
research at a FINI broker) is looking for a research associate in his private
equity fund focusing on opportunities in the technology industry,
particularly in the semiconductor sector.
[ Job responsibilities ]
1. Collect and analyze industry/market data and financial/operating
information of companies
2. Build financial models to project financial results and value companies
for return analysis
3. Prepare presentation and meeting materials
4. Participate in the assessment and execution of potential investment
opportunities
[ Qualifications & Requirements ]
1. Bachelor degree or above from a prestigious institution
2. 1 to 2 years finance-related experience (equity research/investment
banking) is highly preferred
3. Knowledge in the semiconductor sector is a plus
4. Fluency in spoken and written English is required
5. Computer skills in Excel and Word are required; TEJ and Bloomberg skills
will be a plus
6. Strong work ethics and a positive attitude at work
7. Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple work requests
8. Ability to work under pressure and work overtime
9. Strong willingness to learn
