[問題] 有關Health insurance的問題請較

各位大家好
有個health insurance的問題想請教大家。

我目前住在紐約，由於錯過了2015年health insurance的open enrollment date，我也不
滿足qualifying life events的條件導致我現在無法使用special enrollment date去購
買health insurance。而更麻煩的是，紐約是少數幾個不允許販賣short term health in
surance的州，所以我被告知說我得等到明年才能夠購買health insurance。

但剛剛上網查了一下，看起來short term health insurance是不論在哪裡購買全國各地
都能夠使用。所以即便紐約無法購買，如果能從外州購買回來紐約應該還是可行。

想請問大家有相關類似的經驗嗎？如果紐約居民要去購買外州的short term plan，是否
能夠請有外州住址的朋友用我的名字幫我購買就好？我需要證明我購買的當下人是在外州
的嗎？

問題有點複雜，但還是麻煩大家了，謝謝。
