TripAdvisor is looking for an exceptional and ambitious marketing professional
to join our world-class Search Engine Marketing (SEM) team. The SEM Analyst,
Creatives will focus on our ads, a critical component of our SEM strategy.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Creative Testing:
o Develop creative concepts and ads in multiple languages with our
Copywriting and Localization teams that drive traffic to our site
based on defined consumer segments, shared knowledge of consumer behavior,
and best practice standards
o Conduct A/B tests, analyze results, draw insights from the data, and identify
opportunities.
Creative Optimization:
o Deploy successful creatives, and keep ads current
o Maximize ad potential via ad extensions and ad coverage in ad groups
Creative Localization:
o Understand the nuances of each market
o Develop high-quality, native translations with the Localization team,
and test options to localize the consumer experience
Creative Exploration:
o Evaluate and manage participation in creative pilots/betas
with search engines
Required Experience, Qualities, and Skills:
1. 3+ years of online marketing or online advertising experience,
ideally with some SEM/PPC experience
2. Analytical and results-oriented; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
3. Meticulous, conscientious, and attentive to detail
4. Self-motivated and able to work independently
5. Effective verbal and written communication with the team in the local
and multiple global offices
6. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced work
environment
7. Bachelor's degree in any quantitative field, such as Economics,
Mathematics, Computer Science, or a physical science, or in Business
or Marketing
