[北美] Bioinformatics求內推

[allqwdd (乳乳)]

各位前輩好，我是今年剛剛從香港中文大學畢業的生物資訊的博士。

目前想要在美國業界找工作，因為我本人是加拿大籍，也是加拿大公民，查了一下

似乎很容易可以使用TN-1簽證在美國工作 (相較於抽H1B)

請問版友們有沒有所在公司在招Bioinformatics / Computation Biologist的

我BS/MS都是中興大學的，分別是Management Information System/Bioinformatics

PhD是The Chinese University of Hong Kong / Molecular Biotechnology
主要做的是Bioinformatics

主要研究的領域包括

1. Metagenomics  / 16S rRNA Sequencing
   (Gut microbiome and Metabolome analyses on gastrointestinal cancer patients
   and antibiotics-treated rats)
2. Epigenetics NGS data analysis (plants)
   (transcription factors regulatory - ChIP-Seq, Gene Expression - RNA-Seq,
   Open Chromatin - ATAC-Seq, WGBS)
3. Honey Bee genome assembly and transcriptome analysis

主要技能包括

1. Machine learning (python sickit-learn)
2. Programming (Java, Python)
3. Statistic (R)
4. Web interface construction (JSP, HTML5, Javascript, CSS)
5. Database construction (MySQL, Postgresql)
6. Cloud computing (Docker, AWS, )
7. Algorithms

→ allqwdd: 不想去的原因除了不是那麼match外，第一次面試對方就告訴
