提到 Ellis, 兩天前 Basketball Insiders 的 Steve Kyler 有聊到:

Not sure there is much the Pacers have to offer without ripping up the core,
which I do not see them doing. I know they’d be open to moving Monta Ellis,
but I am not sure what he returns. Maybe Orlando? I think they need a flat
out scorer and there is some history with Vogel, but at this point, nothing
is there.

簡言之, Ellis 是有被端出來詢價的, 但要換誰不清楚

也許魔術是個可能的對象, 但目前的情況是八字沒一撇～

同樣都在東區中段載浮載沉, 跟魔術交易的可能性也的確不高
不過如果從魔術的陣容中挑選, 扣掉不大可能動的三塔之外,好像只有兩種可能了:

1. 僅簽了一年合約的 Jeff Green (15M)
   < 看是要 Ellis+Allen 直接換,或是 Miles+Ellis 換 Green+選秀權 >
   純粹是清薪資空間為明年續約或搶人用~

2. 態度散漫而被冰起來的 Mario Hezonja (新人約第二年, 3.9M)
   < 魔術在湊球員(Meeks 或 Watson)來平衡薪資 >
   看高層是否願意賭這個有天分但需要矯正態度(找John Cena?)的球員
