Executive produced by NBA legend Steve Nash, Rookie/Vet is a season-long
documentation of two NBA teammates at very different points in their careers,
and in their lives. Season One follows 15-year NBA veteran Tyson Chandler and
rookie Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns as they settle into new roles on a
new team: one the student, and the other, the teacher.

Going into his rookie year with the Suns, Devin Booker was told to pick the
vets’ brains apart. So he asked Tyson Chandler, “What’s one piece of
advice you wish you knew when you were a rookie in the NBA?”
當 Devin Booker 在他的新秀第一年加入了太陽隊，他被告知要去選個老將當
成學習的對象。所以他問了拳王：「當你回顧你的 NBA 新秀時期，有沒有什

“The grind is incredible. It’s not just the game, but the travel.” Devin
Booker didn’t understand that at first. Now, it’s his life. “I remember
waking up in the middle of the night, like, ‘Oh yeah, I am in Utah.’ So I
don’t even know what city I’m in. That’s how bad it is.”
「最折磨人的部分是很瘋狂的。並不僅僅是在比賽，旅行也是一部分。」
